New to LifePointe?
Thank you for visiting the website of LifePointe Church!
Thank you for visiting the website of LifePointe Church! We're really excited to be a part of what God is doing here. We think as you learn more about LifePointe you will become excited, too. We've put this page together to give you some basic information about LifePointe Church. Thanks again for visiting us. You can always contact us if you have any questions.
What are your service times?
Our Sunday morning worship services start at 10:30 AM. However, we open our building at least 30 minutes earlier. There's coffee, donuts, soft drinks, and other breakfast snacks available before the service. This gives us the time and opportunity to get know each other and catch up on what's going on in each other's lives. We just have a good time together, which carries over into the worship. So come a little bit earlier than 10:30 AM and grab a cup of coffee with us.
On Wednesday nights, our young people have the night to themselves. The Pointe, our youth group, meets at 6:30 pm. At the same time we have a gathering for our 3rd through 6th graders. Wednesday nights are exciting, fun, and guaranteed fun!
Do you have small groups?
We sure do! Our small groups follow a semester time table. We have three semesters a year: spring, summer, and fall. The spring and fall semesters form in January and August. These groups meet both in homes and at our building. We have one small group during the summer semester, which starts each June.
While Sunday Worship is our time of gathering together to worship, our small groups are where church takes place. Lifelong friendships are formed in our small groups. Personal support and encouragement are huge parts of small groups. We have Bible study, prayer, and good food. Small groups are the heart of LifePointe Church.
What happens during your Sunday morning services?
We start off with a time of music and worship. The music will be selected from today's latest, full of energy and hope. The music is followed by a message from our pastor, taken from the Bible and applied to life today.
While the worship service is going on, there is a nursery provided for all infants to 3 years old and two high energy gatherings for children up to 12 years old. The kids have a fantastic time, and learn a little in the process, too.
What can I expect on Sunday Mornings?
You can expect a friendly, laid-back atmosphere where everybody has a smile on their face. The music will be upbeat and the messages will be encouraging. We think you'll leave in a much better frame of mind than when you got here!
What do I wear?
We're not concerned about clothes, so, as long as you have some on 😉 you're welcome to come join us. Seriously, we really aren't concerned with the way people dress. Most people at LifePointe wear what they would wear any other day of the week.
Where are you located?
We're located in The Windows, a historic building, on the corner of 3rd Street and 3rd Avenue, in Amory, Mississippi. You can click here for a map to our location.
