Thanks for Giving!
<<First Name>>, we didn't get the newsletter out last week, so I want to share with you how our thanksGIVING Day went at LifePointe two weeks ago.
First, we collected shoeboxes for Samaritan's Purse and Operation Christmas Child. There were 53 shoeboxes collected! That means 53 children somewhere around the world will have a little better Christmas because you gave.
We also took up a special offering to support Highway and Hedges Ministry and build a new church building in a Mexican village. They needed $1500 to build the building. Our offering total was $1846!! Ryan is ecstatic! They were surprised and elated at your generosity.
Thank you for your heart for Jesus and those He cares about!

The Maness Family: Our Mexican Partners
The Maness family are our partners in Mexico. Here's some good news for LifePointe. They are coming to our church to personally collect our offering! Sometime during the Christmas holidays, Ryan and his family will be our guests on a Sunday! We can't wait to meet them and find out more about their ministry.

For Our Men
We're starting a "Man Cave" Men's get-together this Saturday morning, at 7:00 am. We plan on meeting every other week for a time to study the Bible and support each other. For men only, Saturday morning.

Prayer and Share
Prayer and Share picks back up this Sunday night, at 6:00 pm. We're studying the book of 1 Corinthians. Don't miss our lively and moving discussions. We have such a great time on Sunday nights. Come be a part of this in-depth Bible study and discussion.
There's a class for all the kids, too. Bring your family and spend an hour with us and God's Word.

The Pointe News
There's never a dull moment at The Pointe! The Pointe meets every Wednesday night. All students, 7th grade and older, are invited.
The Pointe meets every Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm. Last Wednesday night was huge. Don't miss this The Pointe this week.
D-Now will be January 14 and 15. See J.W. Posey for all the details. Cost is $30 per person.

KidzPointe and TweenPointe News
KidzPointe is our grades 1-4 ministry and TweenPointe is our grades 5-6 ministry.
Wanted: Teachers for younger children on Sunday morning, Sunday night, and Wednesday nights. This is a great ministry to get involved in. See Tisha Young or Rob Westbrook if you want to be part of see young lives changed by God.
