Family Productions – KidzKlubb
Our offical name for our productions are KidzKlubb.
I believe there is still some confusion about what this is. I will attempt to explain what we are doing.
This is a combo of worship music, skits, and comedy combined. Everyone in our church is welcome to participate. There is a place for EVERYONE, from the comedian to the shy at every production. There is lots and lots of behind the scene stuff that can be done to. EVERYONE can plug in SOMEWHERE. This is for adults and teens along with a few small children from month to month. I think that is where the confusion has came into play. This is a production with the kids and parents as the audience as well as the kids and parents as the actors and everything else involved. It is basically something that we will do as a church family together and rotate around the parts from month to month. Although it is written to target children – parents will soon find out they are as much a target to. I really believe this will be exciting and very different from anything every done on a routine basis in Amory. All of the acting slots and so forth is already filled for august. So if you want an acting part be sure to let me know so we can get you in September or October. (These are done only on the 4th Sunday night of the month). Another question that I have been asked is the time consumption. It really isn’t that much overall. We promise not to inconvience you much. Practice will always be when you are already out. Example – 1 Sunday after church.

New info. for KidzPointe Parents
We had a good time this morning. We started talking about Honor. They will be receiving a certificate of Honor all month for showing Honor to different people in our church on Sundays. There will be some things that all kids will not be comfortable doing. But they should receive at least 2 certificates this month. I am challenging them to get out of their comfort zone. They realized this morning that praising God can actually be fun when we all sing out loud. I hope you heard them, I am really proud of the kids for doing this. Please encourage them at home to step out and Honor people out loud that are above them (parents, teachers, coaches) and most of all GOD!
As you know – this month is very exciting @ LifePointe. There is a lot going on. Let alone that school starts back for alot. Lucky ducks, some don’t start till September! Enjoy while you can.
This is just a little extra something for you to do at home with your child. (Like you don’t have enough already) It is very important that as your child is learning virtues and bible stories at kidzpointe – i hope . It is more important that it is reinforced at home by you. If your child is like mine – sometimes, ok in my case all the time – when I ask what is going on I get the ever loved, NOTHING, or I don’t know. So, I hope you got the paper that has a refridge on it. It says all the things that we have been over for that day. It includes the scripture for the story, memory verse for the month, bottom line, virtue and how to apply it. It also has some conversation starters for you to use with your child. These can take place at a meal or on the way to school.
Your child also received a small booklet with days 1-days 4. These are small devotionals that coincide with our lesson to help reinforce even more. Some kids are able to do these by themselves or have an older sibling do it with them. Better yet – if you have time, you can do it as a family.
We will also begin singing a virtue song during kidzpointe together. These are original to our curriculum. You should have received the lyrics Sunday. I hate when Tyler or Dylan would come home and sing or hum songs and want to share it with us, then their minds go blank. Welp- you have the lyrics now. We will start this song this coming week!
