Are We a Threat to Turn the World Upside Down?

 , here's the Bible verse we've been considering the last few weeks:

"These men who have turned the world upside down have come here also..." (Acts 17:6, ESV)

Paul and Silas was turning the world upside down with their mission and message of Jesus. And this led me to think of how LifePointe Church could turn the world upside down like them. Here's four questions for us to think about:
  • Are we a threat to turn the world upside down?
  • Are the people of our community talking about our impact?
  • Are we doing anything that will disturb our community?
  • Is our presence leading peopel to make eternal decision?
This Sunday, we'll be focusing on question #2. Don't miss it.


Next Women's Bible Study

We have a women's Bible study meeting every two weeks here, on Thursday mornings. The study is led by Linda Ludwig. The next study is scheduled for Thursday, April 7, at 10:00 am. See Linda for more information.


Man Cave

The Man Cave Men's Gathering will be  April 2, at 7:00 am. All men are invited. And you can bring people with you, too. The Man Cave is not limited to just those from LifePointe. Any man is welcome to come!

We have our Prayer and Share every Sunday night at 5:00 pm. What is Prayer and Share? It's a wide open Bible study. No question or issue is off-limits! This Sunday we begin studying the Book of John, verse by verse. Come join in on the exciting discussion.

The Pointe


The Pointe is the Student Ministry of LifePointe Church.

The Pointe meets every Wednesday night at 6:30 pm.

The Pointe Summer Camp has been scheduled for July 14-17.



Lil'Pointe and TweenPointe


Lil'Pointe is our Grades 1-4 ministry.
TweenPointe is our Grades 5-6 ministry.

Lots of fun for your 1st through 6th graders every Sunday morning!


Two Easter Services This Year


Easter is Sunday, April 24, and, like last year, we're planning two separate services for the Easter weekend. The first will be Saturday, April 23, at 6:00 pm. The second will be at our normal service time, Sunday, April 24, at 10:30 am. With two services we hope to give you an extra opportunity to invite someone to come with you that might not otherwise have the chance. The message will focus directly on Jesus and salvation, so make sure you bring someone with you, even to both services!

We want to encourage you to begin and continue praying for LifePointe as we consider our next step in facilities. Whatever God leads us to do, remember a building is only a tool used by the church. WE ARE the CHURCH!
