Spring has Sprung!
, hasn't it been great to see spring finally arrive? After a long winter, things are greening up, flowers are blooming, and life starts all over again. That's the way God works in our lives, isn't it? Even when life is dry and nothing seems well, God always breathes life back into us. No matter what our circumstances, we know our God is there and we're not far from a new season in life. So we don't lose hope. We trust in our Lord!

Memorial Service for Charles Standefer
We lost one of our bedrocks at LifePointe Church this week. Mr. Charles Standefer went to be with Jesus and we're going to miss him greatly. There will be a Memorial Service for him Sunday, at 2 pm. We've invited his family and friends to join us for our Lunch@LifePointe, so bring a extra dish or two if you can.

Lunch@LifePointe Sunday
Our next Lunch@LifePointe is this Sunday, immediately after the worship service. Bring a dish to share and enjoy some food and good times with us.
We've invited Mr. Charles Standefer's family and friends to join us for lunch before his memorial service. So, if you can, bring an extra dish or two for our guests. Also, there may be quite a few elderly people here who may move a little slowly. Please make sure your children are aware of this and move a little bit more slowly, too.

Prayer and Share
Every Sunday night at 6:00 pm we have our Prayer and Share Small Group Experience. We study the Bible, the book of Romans currently, for a few minutes, then break out into small groups. If you haven't experienced our Prayer and Share come this Sunday Night and give it a try. We know you'll love it.

The Pointe News
There's never a dull moment at The Pointe! The Pointe meets every Tuesday night. All students, 7th grade and older, are invited. The Pointe also has a new website, all it's own. Check it out at http://ourpointe.webs.com.
For the next few weeks, Scott Benton will be the guest speaker at The Pointe.
The Student Life Camp has been cancelled BUT there is another in the works. Just remember these dates: June 14-17! Details are coming soon! Exciting stuff coming!
KidzPointe and TweenPointe News
KidzPointe is our grades 1-4 ministry and TweenPointe is our grades 5-6 ministry.
There are some awesome things going on in our children's ministries. Tisha, Angel, Brian, Amanda, and others are really making it happen there. You always know your children are having an exciting time at LifePointe!
Kids DNOW - April 30 - May 1. Now the 3rd thru 6th Graders have their own DNow! We're pushed for time on this so see Tisha Young Sunday for details.

Christian recording artist Rebecca St. James will be in Amory April 22, at First Baptist Church, Amory, MS. Rebecca St James will be in Amory to debut her first movie, Sarah's Choice and perform a concert! Tickets are $20 and can be purchased on line at trinitytickets.net or call Sav-A-Life of Monroe County at 257-9043 or 305-5554. Gold Tickets are $50 and include private time( 5pm-6pm) with Ms St James, tickets to the event, and her latest cd. The concert is hosted by: Mission Pre Born and Sav-A-Life of Monroe County.
