Phenomenal Sunday!
<<First Name>>, I hope you were able to be with us last Sunday. We had a very, very good day. We had two baptisms, one at our building during the morning service, and one in the afternoon in the Buttahatchie River. Somewhere between 22 and 24 people were baptized! And we have more this weekend. Right now is a great time to be a part of God's miracle called LifePointe Church. Thanks for being a part of His work here!

The Pointe News
There's never a dull moment at The Pointe! The Pointe meets every Tuesday night. All students, 7th grade and older, are invited. The Pointe also has a new website, all it's own. Check it out at http://ourpointe.webs.com.
The Pointe meets every Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm. Last Wednesday night was huge. Don't miss this The Pointe this week.
Car Wash
The Pointe will have a car wash Saturday, August 21, 2010, at AutoZone, on HWY 278 east in Amory. Come get your car washed and support the student ministry of LifePointe Church.
Skate Party
The Pointe is sponsoring a Skate Party for all LifePointe kids and their friends. The party will be Sunday night, August 22, at the Amory Skating Rink.
Concert
Jars of Clay and Brandon Heath will be in concert at The Orchard in Tupelo, November 13. Tickets are $15 each.

KidzPointe and TweenPointe News
KidzPointe is our grades 1-4 ministry and TweenPointe is our grades 5-6 ministry.
Wanted: Teachers for younger children on Sunday morning, Sunday night, and Wednesday nights. This is a great ministry to get involved in. See Tisha Young or Rob Westbrook if you want to be part of see young lives changed by God.

Dealing With Today's Teen

Secret Church: August 27
We're having our first Secret Church, Friday night, August 27, from 7:00 until. What is Secret Church? It's a time of Bible Study and Prayer with no time limit. We'll get started at 7:00 pm and go until we're ready to go home. Secret Church is based upon the meetings so many Christians conduct in countries where Christianity is against the law and persecuted.
Secret Church is ONLY for those in our Youth Group and older. There will be NO child care or nursery available. We understand this may hinder some of you wanting to attend so we're letting you know well in advance so you can make your own arrangements for your children. Please understand this is NOT to limit your attendance but to provide an adult setting for serious study and prayer.

Party in the Parking Lot 2
That's right! We're going to do it again! On Saturday, October 23 (date changed from Oct. 30 to Oct. 23), we'll be having another Party in the Parking Lot. That may not be the event's final name, but we're going to do it again. In just a few weeks we'll start planning, so start coming up with your brilliant ideas and we'll get to work soon.
