Typical Mississippi Weather

It happens every winter, doesn’t it <<First Name>>? The old saying holds true for us here in Mississippi: "You don’t like the weather? Wait 30 minutes and it will change!" We go from snow to sun to ice. You never know what’s coming next. Aren’t you glad God isn’t like that? No matter what the weather is outside, God is always the same, always near, always watching over us. He’s our anchor.
 

The Revolution Week 4

There has been an excitement in the air at LifePointe that has been intoxicating. God is filling our Sunday morning service and it’s been awesome. We hope to see you this Sunday for Revolution: Week 4.

Super Bowl Party – February 7

For the third year, LifePointe will be hosting a Super Bowl Party. Every year we get together at our building, turn on the big screens, break out a bunch of food, and watch the game together! We’re doing it again this year. We’ll have details coming soon, but make sure you’ve got the date marked. We want all of you to join us!

Baptism: February 14

We will have our next Baptism Sunday, February 14, 2010. Baptisms are a huge event at LifePointe. We love to see people publicly stand for their faith through baptism. If you want to be baptized, or have questions about baptism, complete the online form by clicking here.
 

The Pointe News

The Pointe, our Student Ministry, is digging deep over the next few months. Their CSI will take them into the depths of God’s Word. The Pointe meets every Tuesday night. All students, 7th grade and older, are invited. The Pointe also has a new website, all it’s own. Check it out at http://ourpointe.webs.com.

The Sun Peeks Out

Well, <<First Name>>, the sun finally peeked its head out a bit this weekend. The forecast says rain and more cold to come, but it sure is good to see the sun and be reminded that there’s hope for better days. The same is true with God. Even in life’s storms and cold spells, God gives us a glimpse of His glory to remind us there is hope for a better day.
 

The Revolution Continues

The last few weeks have been phenomenal at LifePointe! We’re seeing the biggest crowds we’ve ever had. You feel the excitement as soon as you walk in the door. Our band has taken it to a whole ‘nuther level. God’s presence presses in. We’re expecting even greater things this Sunday. We hope you’ll be here for Revolution: Week 3.

Four New Families Join the Revolution!

We held our first New Member Class for 2010 last Sunday and we’re proud to welcome four new families to LifePointe! We want to welcome Sue and Fuzzy Clark, Candace Jefferies and family, Danielle Hood and Cody, and Steven and Cynthia Ray and family. It’s wonderful to watch the Lord bring new families into LifePointe. We can’t wait to see what He does through them. Our next New Members Class is April 18, 2010.

It’s Been Cold!

<<First Name>>, we hope you’re thawing out after the last few weeks of very cold temperatures. Nothing makes you look forward to spring more than 10 degree nights!

It’s been cold outside but things are really heating up at LifePointe. We’ve had huge crowds, wonderful music, and the very real presence of God, in every service. We can’t wait to see what’s going to happen this Sunday. Hope you’ll be here with us!
