Happy New Years!
It’s a new year in more ways than one here at LifePointe Church. This Sunday, January 3, will mark our second anniversary! Two years ago the dream was launched. We’ve seen God do so much here already. But, He’s just getting started. We haven’t even scratched the surface of what’s possible. You don’t want to miss being a part of His plan in 2010!
New Series: Church Revolution
What would happen if there was a church that went against the grain? What would happen if that church rediscovered the purposes of the church? What would happen if a church dared to dream the dreams of God for its community? It would be REVOLUTIONARY! Join us every Sunday in January and February as we talk about revolution, Church Revolution. You don’t want to miss any of this series.
The Pointe New Years Eve Party
The Pointe, our student ministry, is hosting a New Years Eve Party. There’s going to be good music, food, and lots of fun. The LifePointe Band will be playing, as well as Crossover. The party is open to everyone, youth and adults and kids, and, well, everybody who wants to come! Bring $5 for each person to cover pizza and drinks. The party will kick off at 9pm, Thursday night, December 31.
Thank You Cards to Sign
When you’re at church Sunday, take a look at the Thank You cards located at the Welcome Desk. These cards are going to the churches and organizations that have supported LifePointe Church for our first two years. Their support ends December 31 and we want to thank them for it. We want you to sign all four cards to let them know how much we appreciate their support.
Alabama vs. Texas On the Big Screens
We’re going to watch the BCS Championship Game on the big screens here Thursday, January 7! There will be grilling, too. We’re grilling steaks and baking potatoes. $5 will cover your food. If you plan on coming, please sign up by clicking here so we will know how much food to prepare.
New Members Class
Our next New Members Class will be Sunday, January 17, 2010, right after the Worship Service. If you’re interested in becoming part of LifePointe Church, be sure and attend the New Members Class. You can sign up for the class by clicking here.
Baptism
We will have our next Baptism Sunday, February 14, 2010. Baptisms are a huge event at LifePointe. We love to see people publicly stand for their faith through baptism. If you want to be baptized, or have questions about baptism, complete the online form by clicking here.
